Sometimes ghosts are form flsh and blood…
Frustrated with her work and private life, journalist Eva travels to her parents house in village Tuulegi in Saaremaa to look for peace. Eva is motivated by the desire to find out what really happened to her family years ago. Why did both her father and her mother leave life one after another? Eva guesses that it is somehow related to three girls who lived in the village, two of whom went missing and one was found murdered. Does anyone know what happened to the girls then?
Eva is also persuadeing her brother Andreas, who has moved to England, to return to their home island, to solve the secret of their mother’s farewell letter and to find out why the villagers are so afraid of their former home. However, ghosts will not only come to light from the past. Soon Eva begins to realize that nothing is really as she had thought. The carefully constructed façade cracks, and the people around Eva reveal their true faces. The gloomy shadow is slipping over Tuulegi again, and some villagers have to pay a high price for their old sins.
