Katrin Pauts’ first collection of short stories contains novels that have been accumulated over a couple of years, which are illustrated by the dreamlike images of illustrator Lumimar. Since the artist and writer are old acquaintances and live in the same area, Lumimar’s pictures are sometimes documentary. In these short stories, the reader can travel around the areas of Tallinn where the author has prowled around, looking at strangers and buildings and thinking of rowdy, dark, mystical or nostalgic-melancholy stories on them.
