Triinu said the following about herself – Life has brought me to fabrics, over and over again. The brightest memories from my childhood are also tied to fabrics – like the sparkling fabrics I saw in a Russian shop and some dress fabric brought from Finland for my grandma a while back, which was never used, as it was deemed too precious. Today, I am designing unique Muhu heritage-inspired fabric patterns and jewellery made with elements from those patterns.
What inspires you?
You never know what can catch your eye or make your mind wander. Mostly it is an old pattern, or a clothing item or… I like playing with patterns, fabrics, and just testing things.
What do you love most of all?
The Creation process. Doing it in my own rhythm and then seeing those patterns living their lives somewhere later.
