Did you know that Saare county is one of the most active areas in Estonia when it comes to being entrepreneurial if looking at the number of registered residents and new businesses? Unbelievable, isn’t it?
Every year, Saare county throws a gala to recognize the local businesses. There are 12 categories for recognition:
The Saare county exporter of the year
The Saare county starter of the year
The Saare county employer of the year
The Saare county investment/investor/development project of the year
The Saare county innovator/green technology applicator of the year
The Saare county marketing act/cooperation project/marketer
The Saare county person of the year or act in tourism
The Saare county best food product
The Saare county best product/service
The Saare county best taxpayer of the year
The Saare county business of the year
The Saare county educational innovation or an act of promoting young people’s entrepreneurship
Anyone can submit candidates to the desired categories. Winners and nominees are announced at the awards gala. The recognition is initiated and carried out by Saaremaa, Muhu and Ruhnu municipalities, Saaremaa Development Center, Cooperation Council of the Islands, Saaremaa Entrepreneurs’ Association and Visit Saaremaa.
The nominees and winners of 2021 were announced on October 15 in Kuressaare, Kena Elu Keskus.
We are happy to announce that this year, Muhu Brands was also recognized in the category “The Saare county best product/service”.
We are extremely grateful for the recognition and that our work has been noticed. Any support and gratitude of this sort is something that gives us a lot of energy to keep going and strive for more!
